SpyShot: 2015 Audi TT testing

An almost undisguised TT was recently caught testing at night. The new TT was sporting some new sharp and aggressive headlamps, flatter windshield/A pillar, bigger front grill, and fender flares. A lot has been improved upon for this new TT, and it will have a fresh look despite similar shape to the current model. It will be revealed next month at the Geneva Motor Show.

Volkswagen Golf GTE Coming

It has been reported that VW will introduce a new performance variant of the Golf named the GTE.
With 'E' standing for electric, this plug-in hybrid will use the same powerplant as Audi A3 e-tron. Power will come from a 1.4L turbo four-cylinder connected with an electric motor for a total output of 204hp. The numbers for the GTE aren't great, but moderate for a hybrid. 0-62mph will take 7.6 seconds with the 6-speed DSG transmission and it will have a top speed of 135mph. Similar to the GTD, performance will only come from the GTI sourced parts including suspension, brakes, interior, and exterior styling.
It is expected to hit the market next year (2015), for Europe only at this time.
